Status Update

Here are some thoughts on the status for my preparations for mock lab #2.

I now understand:

• How to set cost and port priority for mstp
• BGP address families
• ip forward-protocol
• ospf demand routing
• ospf authentication null
• bgp next-hop-self
• bgp cluster-id
• police cir

I've changed my strategy as follows:

• I now make a detailed L2 diagram
• I now make a loopback checklist
• I now add multicast information to the L3 diagram
• I now use 10 telnet windows instead of a single console

I'm still weak with:

• attention to detail
• verification plan
• multicast troubleshooting
• Catalyst QoS
